Sama Dubai Country Office Signage 03 Feb 2009
In November 2008, Martins Integrated were engaged to develop external branding signage for Sama Dubai’s superb new Country Office in Muscat, Oman.
Both the interior and exterior design of the building were a major consideration in our conceptual thinking, as well as the regional architecture and relaxed “Omani” atmosphere. Signage was designed to be sympathetic with the architecture. Careful selection of materials and design subtlety ensure a supremely tasteful result than complemented the traditional Omani architecture, whilst still achieving stand-out from passing traffic. For the façade sign, we opted to use a laser cut aluminum finished in bronze.
The full design execution will include use of five large flag assemblies themed on the Sama Dubai identity with flowing silk style banners gently moving with the breeze.
