SA Water’s Report Set: reflecting the brand and the contribution to the state. 03 Jan 2009
Playing its part to deliver long-term water security to the state is a top priority for SA Water – South Australia’s key water supplier. In fact, its history of service and commitment to the state can be traced back to just after the time of colonial settlement.
SA Water is about to release its Drinking Water Quality Report, which, along with its 2007-08 Annual Report, completes this year’s Parliamentary and community reporting set. Martins Integrated is proud to have designed and coordinated the printing of both documents for SA Water.
This vital government agency sought a creative partner who could provide appealing and approachable communications documents that still preserved the corporate identity of this major government enterprise. These publications also needed to be produced within specific time and budgetary controls as well as making allowances for the inclusion of further information on CDs inserted into the cover to minimise unnecessary printing.
Our designers created a look and feel to complement both documents. The green and blue colour tones reflected both SA Water’s identity and its commitment to sustainability. The images focused not just on the projects, but importantly, the people behind SA Water.
The use of subtle colour backgrounds, highlighted information boxes and distinctive table layouts made even the most technical data, appealing and easily understood by their broad audience and range of stakeholders.
