Defence SA exhibit commands attention 27 Nov 2008
To be used for the next 2-3 years at expos and conferences around the country we designed a set inspired by military aesthetics and conceptually based on a military fortress.
Defence SA is developing defence industry in South Australia and working to position the state as the Defence State – a key objective of the South Australian Governments Strategic Plan.
As well as being highly adaptable, easily transportable and capable of including storage, meeting areas, display stands and a general reception area, it also had to convey a message of strength and dependability.
The military/fortress theme of the exhibition set formed a backdrop for the meeting room, highlighted by a series of LCD monitors showing footage that could be adapted to the specific audience.
The set components were all hardwearing and modular, allowing for easy mobility, storage and adaptive sizing for a variety of settings.
