A Very Creative Christmas 04 Dec 2007
Within the inspiring and very appropriate surroundings of the South Australian Art Gallery, 120 Martins Integrated staff and guests came together for an evening of excellent food and wine, great tunes and unique entertainment.
After soaking up a few centuries of artwork with a leisurely stroll through the gallery exhibits, guests were treated to a Paris-bohemian themed pre-cursor to dinner. A lively pair of ‘green fairies’, courtesy of South Australia’s Helpmann Academy, amused guests, frolicking with those who’d (inadvertently) chosen to wear green for the occasion and providing a lively distraction for any talk of work.
Inside, two kinetic artists started with a 2m x 1m blank ‘canvas’ and painted tirelessly throughout the event as gradually, a beautiful, pre-raphaelite inspired piece emerged.
After a short speech by Tony Wilson, looking back on the hectic year that was 2007 and thanking staff and associates for their dedication through the ups and downs of the past 12 months, the evening kicked on, finishing up in the wee hours at Jah’z Lounge, Rundle Street.
The Christmas Dinner saw a unique blend of South Australian creative talent come together from Kath Kerry’s sumptuous menu, dance students, painters Rachel and Maylin and of course the collective talent within Martins Integrated itself.
